Soup Cup

Per page: 12/24/48/All

A soup cup holds a single portion of broth or cream soup and, thanks to its handles, can be carried hot and sipped straight from the rim. This category has porcelain soup cups and bowls from 330 ml to 545 ml – white Wilmax porcelain and one green bowl from the Splash collection.

Which size and shape

  • 330 ml, no handles – 11 cm across; stands on a saucer or plate like a broth cup, a starter portion.
  • 350 ml with a handle – the smallest bowl with a grip, for broth, sauce or porridge.
  • 400 ml, green – Splash porcelain, 12.5 cm, with handles.
  • 450 and 500 ml with two handles – a main portion of soup; the 500 ml bowl is wide and shallow, so the broth cools faster.
  • 545 ml with a 15 cm saucer – the saucer catches drips and gives the spoon somewhere to rest.

Care and use

All the cups and bowls are porcelain and, according to the product pages, dishwasher and microwave safe – soup can be reheated in the same bowl it is served in. They also work for porridge, chilli or a small salad.
