Serving Salad Bowl

Per page: 12/24/48/All

Bowls in sizes meant for the middle of the table: 17 items from 300 ml to 3.63 litres. All of them are porcelain.

Sizes

  • 300–970 ml – a side dish or salad for two or three.
  • 1–2 l (14–19.5 cm) – salad for a family dinner.
  • 2.6–3.63 l – party bowls; with salad as the main course, enough for six to eight.
  • Oblong 30.5×21 and 33.5×23 cm – for vegetables, pasta or leaves that should lie flat rather than be piled up.

Lines

12 items are white Fine Porcelain, four are Orient and one is Atrium. The shade of white is shared, so a bowl will sit with plates from any white Wilmax line.

Depth matters

At the same diameter a deeper bowl holds far more, but salad in a shallow one looks more generous and is easier to serve. Choose wider and shallower for leaf salads, deeper for slaws and sides. Each product page gives the capacity.

Smaller bowls for individual settings are in salad bowls, and serving platters in platters.

Washing

All 17 items are dishwasher and microwave safe.
