ThermoGlass Glass Jug

A glass jug with a lid serves tea, a fruit drink or water and keeps dust and insects out between refills. The jugs in this category are made of heat-resistant thermal glass, so they take a hot brew as well as a chilled drink from the fridge. There are 12 models from 1000 ml to 2500 ml, most from the Wilmax ThermoGlass collection and two ribbed jugs from the Segment line.

Sizes and shapes

• Slim jugs, 1000 and 1500 ml – only 9.5 cm wide (21 and 29 cm tall), so they take little room on the worktop or in the fridge door.
• Low 1000 ml jug – 15 cm tall, for a fridge shelf where a tall jug no longer fits.
• Wide jugs, 1500 to 2500 ml – iced tea or lemonade for the whole table; the largest holds 2.5 litres.
• Ribbed jugs, 1000 and 1500 ml – vertical ribs and a metal lid.

Bamboo or metal lid

The bamboo lid warms up less over a hot brew and adds a natural touch. The stainless steel lid takes on no smells. The jugs are dishwasher safe according to the product pages.
