Soy Plate & Bottle

Per page: 12/24/48/All

Every sushi guest needs a small dish of their own for soy sauce, and often one more place for wasabi and pickled ginger. This category has small white Wilmax porcelain dishes made for that, together with a porcelain sauce bottle for pouring at the table.

Soy sauce dishes

  • Round 7.5 cm – the smallest, for an individual portion; it does not crowd the main plate.
  • Round 10 cm – holds sauce for two, or works as a rest for wasabi and ginger; the low rim makes dipping easier.
  • Divided 8.5 cm – two condiments side by side, for example soy sauce and wasabi, without the flavours mixing.
  • Divided 9 cm – keeps ginger and wasabi apart so they do not slide into the sauce; sized for one place setting.
  • Rectangular dish 8 x 6 cm, 100 ml – for soy sauce, rice vinegar or a dip; the flat base lets you dip a piece without spilling.

Sauce bottle

A 170 ml porcelain bottle, 10.2 cm tall, for soy sauce, oil or vinegar. The narrow neck pours a thin stream, so the amount is easier to judge than from an open sauce boat.

Setting a sushi table

Plan one small dish per person, plus a divided plate if you serve wasabi and ginger. The four round dishes come from the Wilmax Orient line, so they match its plates and platters.

According to the product pages, the dishes are dishwasher safe.
