Choosing the size

  • 18–21 cm – dessert, breakfast or starter plate.
  • 23–28 cm – the classic dinner plate; 25–26 cm is the most popular size.
  • 29–36 cm – platters and serving plates, pizza included.

Narrower categories help: plates, dishes, platters and salad bowls.

Dishwasher and microwave

346 of the 369 items are dishwasher safe. The exceptions are pieces with bamboo and models with a gold rim – wash those by hand and keep them out of the microwave. Each product page says so directly.

Frequently asked questions

How many plates for a set for four?

Four of each in three sizes: dinner 25–27 cm, dessert 19–21 cm and a deep soup plate. Add one platter for the middle of the table.

Do the white lines match each other?

Yes, Fine Porcelain, Orient and Diamond share the same shade of white. They differ in shape and rim finish, not in colour.

Is Wilmax porcelain suitable for restaurants?

Yes. The Fine Porcelain and Slatestone lines are made for catering: a thicker rim, industrial dishwasher resistance and the option to reorder single pieces.
