Many people ask us why our products are so durable. The answer lies in the traditional firing process. Each item “ColorBoom” collection passes through the hands of our artisans. We start with the careful selection of clay, which must have the right plasticity.
After the shape is formed, the dishes dry naturally for several hours, and then go into the kiln for the so-called “first firing.” Only then do we apply our proprietary glaze, which reacts with the temperature to create those unique sand dots on the surface. It’s a time-consuming process, but the end result is worth it.
How to take care of our porcelain?
Despite their delicate, almost artistic appearance, our dishes are extremely durable. We make them from high-quality porcelain, which is fired at temperatures above 1200 degrees Celsius. As a result, the material becomes almost as hard as rock and does not absorb moisture.
