As autumn arrives, we want not only warmer clothes but also to fill our space with cosy, warming things — to decorate the house with seasonal pieces, set an elegant table and invite close friends over.

Wilmax shows you how to create a beautiful and sustainable table setting in an autumn mood — from natural materials, with no plastic or artificial decorations. Take inspiration and create!

Choose a palette that matches your own mood and start decorating the table. Fruit, leaves, ears of wheat, acorns and rosehips all work beautifully — anything that creates a warm, cosy feeling.

We went for linen in natural shades. Instead of napkin rings you can use twine or copper wire — or simply tie a pretty knot.

[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner column_margin=”default” text_align=”left” row_position=”default” overflow=”visible” pointer_events=”all”][vc_column_inner column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ column_shadow=”none” column_border_radius=”none” column_link_target=”_self” gradient_direction=”left_to_right” overlay_strength=”0.3″ width=”1/2″ animation_type=”default” bg_image_animation=”none” border_type=”simple” column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid”][image_with_animation image_url=”39224″ image_size=”medium_large” max_width=”100%” max_width_mobile=”default” animation_type=”entrance” animation=”None” animation_movement_type=”transform_y” hover_animation=”none” alignment=”center” border_radius=”none” box_shadow=”none” image_loading=”default”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ column_shadow=”none” column_border_radius=”none” column_link_target=”_self” gradient_direction=”left_to_right” overlay_strength=”0.3″ width=”1/2″ animation_type=”default” bg_image_animation=”none” border_type=”simple” column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid”][image_with_animation image_url=”39226″ image_size=”medium_large” max_width=”100%” max_width_mobile=”default” animation_type=”entrance” animation=”None” animation_movement_type=”transform_y” hover_animation=”none” alignment=”center” border_radius=”none” box_shadow=”none” image_loading=”default”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]

In our case that means beautiful porcelain, glass and sustainable bamboo. Bamboo stands regrow far faster than trees.

The bamboo used by WILMAX grows in highland areas free from industrial pollution, which makes the material safe for everyday use. Bamboo is naturally antibacterial and resistant to insects, so it needs no extra chemical treatment. By making tableware from a sustainable, fast-growing and self-renewing material, WILMAX contributes to protecting the environment.

Garden dahlias in soft shades add freshness. Peaches, figs and grapes tie the setting together — believe us, the best decoration is the kind you can eat. Place halved fruit on the plates to add colour.

Autumn calls for dried flowers. Their great advantage is longevity, and after the dinner they stay on as a decoration for the room. Pampas grass in a slender crystal-glass decanter makes a light, airy composition.

Choose candles made of beeswax or coconut wax — unlike paraffin ones, they contain no harmful additives.

Candles to set the mood
